Precision Preview Module

We are pleased to introduce our newly re-engineered preview module, now in production at ATR Service. The purpose of this module is to provide a preview signal ahead of the main playback head, enabling proper groove pitch and depth control in lacquer cutting and other preview-based workflows.

The updated design offers reduced mass, increased mechanical stability, and precise alignment control, including an integrated azimuth adjustment gauge. The rigid, lightweight structure ensures stable tape geometry and repeatable performance under professional studio conditions.

Designed for 30 ips operation, the module provides approximately 0.9 seconds of preview time before the signal reaches the main playback head, making it well suited for cutting lathe systems that require accurate advance control.
