Studer Custom Head Blocks

ATR Services custom machines complete head block assemblies for the Studer A827 MCH machines. These blocks are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and fitted with New Flux tape heads. Formats include 8 track, 2" 16 track 2", 1" 8 track and 1" 2 track. We have also done special format heads like 16 track 1" for playback transfer head blocks.

Our blocks provide the highest quality at substantial savings over the stock head block assemblies.

STUDER A827MCH Pinch Rollers

ATR Services addressed issue that most A827 recorders have with tape skewing at the pinch roller. Our roller is designed to center its nip load at the tape center. Every time the roller engages, it loads from tape center nearly eliminating all tape mistracking.


CUSTOM-BUILT STUDER A820-A827 SELF CENTERING PINCH ROLLERS

We provides rollers for 1" and 2" applications. Our roller surface is rubber which will not get sticky like urethane rollers.
